Ture Vedin is 21 years old, the youngest in The Daytrippers, and born and raised in Nynäshamn. There he started at the Musikskolan when he was nine years old. He played acoustic guitar, continued at Sandviken’s music school when he was 16 years old and there he was also in the band Blueshunters for about two years.

He also took singing lessons and participated in 2019 in the Music School’s big concert at Göransson arena, where Ture sang the closing number, the Beatles song All You Need Is Love with a band consisting of 40 people and a choir with 400 children. It gave more flavor!

Ture says that his interest in music came with relatives and family, and it has always been sung and played at family gatherings of various kinds. He often had to sit with an uncle or his father and sing in front of the family. His musical influences include Jimi Hendrix, Ebba Grön, Cornelis Vreeswijk, Vulfpeck, Weird Al Yankovic, Tenacious D – and of course the Beatles!

Jose grew up in a family of musicians. His own early musical influences were a mix of folk, rock and reggae, with Dylan and Marley high on the list.

For a number of years he has performed live with his younger brother in three pop / rock bands on the Spanish Costa del Sol – Guardia Futura and Bias Select who played Spanish and English pop and rock, as well as Beatles cover bands.

He has also starred in Crosby Still’s Nash & Young-inspired, Shameless, which released its first album in 2010.

During his time as a musician, he has performed in many different contexts, clubs, restaurants, hotels, private and corporate parties, weddings and motorcycle events in southern Spain.

Jose sees it as an honor to pay tribute to one of his musical idols, Paul McCartney, with The DayTrippers, which he has now taken the initiative to retrain on Swedish soil. And just like McCartney, he plays the “violinbass”!

Lennart was born in Östhammar. When punk came along, guitar became the natural choice. The music that inspired him besides The Beatles – and punk – includes Jimi Hendrix, Allman Brothers Band, Bob Dylan and Muddy Waters.

A move to Örebro gave the opportunity to play in bands, first blues rock with Bluesworks ”, then cover repertoire with Justice, punk pop with BFGPT, and blues rock with Blues Pistols.

At this time he was also part of the “CP borrmaskinen”, a punk band that had spectacular stage appearances.

During the 2010s, Lennart has mainly played with Torgny Sandgren with orchestra, a rock band with self-written songs.

The bands have been many and in different styles but some things have always been the same for Lennart – tube amps and Fender guitars!

Music nerd since childhood when the Beatles took their place in his life. Has played in various cover bands from the 1970s onwards, as well as in the 80’s groups Damernas Värld (yes the band was called that, won Radio Uppland’s pop band competition in 1982), and in Republiken, two groups with their own repertoires and influences from new wave and synth pop.

From being a bassist, he switched to drums and in recent years has played in the Oldies & Goldies Band which has appeared in pubs and other places, as well as today in The DayTrippers where it is the Beatles for all the money.

Has over the years also been a cultural journalist, reviewed music and done many interviews with artists and groups. Has a broad taste in music, likes to nerd himself in different genres and currents, but the Beatles are never wrong. Saw the idol Ringo Starr live a few years ago, from the first floor, a religious experience!

Patric comes from Skyttorp and was Uppsalas synthking in the 80’s and realised records with grupps like Royalty, PA Tronic and Soundbox.

In recent years, he has made music under the stage names Pumpan and Pumprixz, but when he was asked if he wanted to jump in as keyboardist in The DayTrippers, who only play Beatles music, he didn’t hesitate for a second. One of Patric’s biggest idols is Sir Paul McCartney.
